Brit superstar Adele issues devastating news

Adele has revealed she’s been compelled to postpone the next dates of her Las Vegas residency after illness ‘took a toll on her voice.’ Days after disclosing she’d been placed on vocal rest, the singer, 35, shared the unfortunate news that all 10 of her March shows would be rescheduled to a later date following ‘doctor’s orders’ to rest.

Adele is set to conclude her Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in June, and is believed to be earning around £1.5 million per show.

Posting a statement on Instagram, Adele wrote: ‘Sadly, I have to take a beat and pause my Vegas residency. I was sick at the end of the last leg and all the way through my break. ‘I hadn’t quite gotten the chance to get back to full health before shows resumed, and now I’m sick again, and unfortunately, it’s taken a toll on my voice. ‘And so on Doctors orders, I have no choice but to rest thoroughly. The remaining five weekends of this leg are being postponed to a later date.

‘We are already working out the details, and you will be sent the information ASAP.’ Adele went on to list the dates of her residency that would be postponed, which included every weekend in March.
